Speaking at the SEC spring meetings down in Destin, Fla., Alabama coach Nick Saban provided an update on the Crimson Tide’s 2016 recruiting class.
The rest of the Crimson Tide’s highly-touted class was expected to join the team on campus this week, but Saban said not everyone is in Tuscaloosa.
“No, we have a couple of guys that are there, but have to get their final grades,” Saban told reporters on Tuesday. “Another guy that’s not getting out of school until tomorrow. We have one guy who has not qualified yet. We’ll give you that information when it’s finalized.”
Alabama once again signed the No. 1 recruiting class this past February. Seven of those players enrolled in January.
Top junior college offensive tackle Charles Baldwin was dismissed from the team earlier this month for a “violation of team rules.”
