Alabama announced on Thursday its Oct. 1 game against Kentucky will be the university’s homecoming game at Bryant-Denny Stadium.
The Crimson Tide are undefeated in homecoming games under Nick Saban and 81-13-1 all-time. The team will look to extend its homecoming win streak to 15 when it hosts the Wildcats.
Alabama holds a 36-2-1 record over Kentucky and hasn’t lost to the Wildcats since a 40-34 overtime loss on the road in 1997. In the last meeting in 2013, Alabama won 48-7 on the back of 359 passing yards by A.J. McCarron and 230 rushing yards by the combination of T.J. Yeldon and Kenyan Drake.
Kickoff time and further details about homecoming events haven’t yet been finalized and will be announced on a later date.
