BATON ROUGE — No. 1 Alabama travels to face 15th-ranked LSU at 8 p.m. ET Saturday in a pivotal SEC West matchup.
The Crimson Tide (8-0, 5-0) can take another big step toward the College Football Playoff with a win over the Tigers (5-2, 3-1). However, this isn’t the same LSU team from before Les Miles was fired. Alabama will have to slow down a rushing attack that averaged 304 yards per game in October, and two of those games were without Leonard Fournette.
If anyone is up for the challenge, however, it’s this Crimson Tide team. They rank first in the conference in rushing defense, and only two teams have gone over 100 yards against them this year.
SEC Country’s Marq Burnett and Chris Kirschner will be providing expert analysis from inside Tiger Stadium during the game. Follow along with our live blog right here at game time.
