Alabama athletics dominating academics
Alabama has one of the most successful athletic departments in the SEC. Most of its teams are competitive, with its football team winning the national championship last season. Now it appears that the programs are dominating off the field as well under athletic director Greg Byrne’s leadership. UA athletics posted 136 athletes on the spring academic honor roll, which is the most in the SEC.

There aren’t many running backs in the SEC that are as productive as Alabama’s Damien Harris. Last season he reached 1,000 yards for the second straight season. He also bumped up his touchdown numbers to double digits. This was all while sharing a backfield with three other talented players. Now a senior, Harris likely will shoulder a big portion of the offense this season. With everything he does, Harris is still overlooked by many. He could be the most underrated player on Alabama’s roster.
