TUSCALOOSA, Ala. ― Alabama basketball will be without its best player when it faces in-state rival Auburn on Wednesday night.
Crimson Tide guard Collin Sexton was ruled out of the contest with an abdominal injury, according to the university.

Sexton leads Alabama in scoring by a wide margin with 19.3 points per game. He’s also the team’s top assist man with 3.4 per game.
Alabama will start John Petty, Dazon Ingram, Herbert Jones, Braxton Key and Daniel Giddens against the Tigers.
Alabama forward Donta Hall was considered a game-time decision for the contest.
