Alabama CB Minkah Fitzpatrick will miss rest of game with “lower extremity” injury
Alabama has now lost two players for the rest of its game against Mississippi State.
Running back Kenyan Drake left in the first half with what coach Nick Saban thought was a “broken arm,” and cornerback Minkah Fitzpatrick is also reportedly out for the remainder of the evening.
CBS reporter Allie LaForce said Fitzpatrick was done with a “lower extremity” issue, but offered no further details.
The freshman broke out at Georgia in October when he blocked a punt and returned it for a touchdown. Two weeks later, he returned two interceptions for touchdowns at Texas A&M.
