Alabama coach Avery Johnson won an NBA title as a player and coached the Dallas Mavericks to the NBA Finals, but he still can’t help but celebrate a big win at his new home.
Johnson had some fun with his team in the locker room following Alabama’s dominant 73-50 victory over previously-unbeaten No. 19 South Carolina. After ending the Gamecocks’ bid for an undefeated season and securing his first SEC win as coach, Johnson couldn’t help but let the excitement get the best of him.

Johnson’s moves may not be stunning, but his coaching chops have certainly been on display in Tuscaloosa, Ala. The Crimson Tide have knocked off three ranked opponents in Johnson’s first year and are a surprising 10-5 and 1-2 in SEC play.
