Nick Saban didn’t realize Tuesday was Election Day. That didn’t mean the Alabama head coach didn’t cast his vote for who he wanted the next president to be.
After Saturday’s blowout win over Mississippi State, Saban clarified his previous Election Day comments. While he didn’t realize which day the election was held, because it is a busy day for his team, Saban did, however, vote using an absentee ballot.

Saban didn’t reveal how his vote went, however. But after the results of this ESPN coaches poll, perhaps Saban should consider running in an election himself. Fellow coaches voted Saban as the college football coach who would be the best president.
He certainly did a good job leading the Crimson Tide again on Saturday, as the top-ranked team in the nation remained undefeated with this commanding victory over visiting Mississippi State.
