Shawn Jennings, an Alabama commit, will miss the rest of his senior season after fracturing his kneecap in Friday night’s game.
Jennings, a 3-star athlete from Dadeville, Ala., is committed to the Tide to play safety.
“I hate it more for him than for us because he’s so talented and he is such a good kid,” Dadeville coach Richard White told Will Sammon of the Opelika-Auburn News. “You just hate to see this happen.”
Jennings tweeted that he will have surgery and the recovery is apparently six to eight weeks, according to his coach.
