Earlier this month, it was reported Alabama defensive back Aaron Robinson was transferring from the program. And on Saturday, he found his new home.
As first reported by 247Sports, Robinson will be transferring to Central Florida to play for coach Scott Frost. Robinson will have to sit out one year but has three years of eligibility left.
Robinson was a 3-star recruit in the the 2016 class, and played in 13 games last season. He was a rotation member of Alabama’s secondary but played predominately on special teams.
The Crimson Tide open the season on Sept. 2 against Florida State in Mercedes-Benz Stadium in Atlanta. The Crimson Tide could be without star defensive lineman Da’Shawn Hand, who was arrested on Saturday morning on a DUI charge.
