TUSCALOOSA, Ala. — Alabama coach Nick Saban announced Monday that defensive back Tony Brown is now eligible to play.
Saban also announced that reserve defensive lineman Johnny Dwight is now eligible to play.
Brown and Dwight will play on Saturday when Alabama hosts Kentucky for homecoming. Kickoff is scheduled for 7 p.m. ET on ESPN.
Brown and Dwight missed the first four games of the season due to an NCAA suspension.
Last week, Brown started to work back into the defensive rotation during practice. He lined up at safety when Alabama worked on its nickel and dime packages.
Brown is a former 5-star prospect who can play both cornerback and safety.
