Fortunately, fans didn’t need to wait long to get some good news from one of the team’s top pass-rushers. Jonathan Allen, who led the team with 12 sacks, announced on Twitter that he will return to Tuscaloosa, Ala., for another run at a title.
“Let the hunt for 17 begin #WonAsOne,” Allen tweeted on Saturday afternoon.
Among those who have yet to make their future plans known are tight end O.J. Howard and linebacker Reuben Foster. Players have until Monday to declare for the NFL draft.
