A video of an Alabama fan being forcefully escorted from Bryant-Denny Stadium for smoking went viral last week, and now the fan is telling her side of the story.
The fan — Sherree Brush — did an interview with Rick Karle of WBRC on Friday, claiming to be a victim of the police officer’s poor behavior. Brush claims she was holding the cigarette up for the officer to take when she was then pulled to the ground by her wrists.
If you need a refresher, here’s a video of the original incident in which Brush is ejected from the crowd.
Brush also told Karle that she suffers from neuropathy, a disease that can cause weakness and pain in one’s hands and feet.
The woman also says she was not aware of the no-smoking policy and that other members of the crowd around here were smoking.
