Thanks to the help of Alabama football center Bradley Bozeman, the wish of a terminally ill Crimson Tide fan was granted this week.
As reported by Gridiron Now, Bozeman made a phone call to a fan identified only as Tommy, who also received a football autographed by coach Nick Saban with the message “To Tommy, Roll Tide!”
They connected through the Dream Foundation, a California-based organization dedicated to “making final dreams a reality for terminally ill adults and their families.”
Tommy has been in hospice in Albertville, Ala., which is the home of John Hannah — another Crimson Tide offensive line great who’s in the College and Pro Football Halls of Fame.
