TUSCALOOSA, Ala. — With news of Mike Locksley becoming the next offensive coordinator for Alabama football, Crimson Tide coach Nick Saban is still working to fill out the rest of the coaching staff.
Alabama has reportedly hired Josh Gattis as its new wide receivers coach and co-offensive coordinator, according to Football Scoop and Bruce Feldman.

Gattis served as the wide receivers coach and passing-game coordinator at Penn State. Gattis spent the past four seasons at Penn State and also worked two seasons on James Franklin’s staff at Vanderbilt before that. While at Vanderbilt, Gattis served as Franklin’s recruiting coordinator and he assists with special teams at Penn State.
Alabama’s offensive staff currently has Mike Locksley as offensive coordinator, Burton Burns at running backs coach and Gattis at wide receivers coach.
