Both quarterbacks impress
Alabama quarterbacks Jalen Hurts and Tua Tagovailoa competed at the Elite 11 pro day over the weekend. Both impressed NFL Network analysts, with Tagovailoa being compared to Super Bowl-winning quarterback Russell Wilson. Hurts and Tagovailoa are in competition with each other. There is a lot riding on the battle. There have been reports that either player could transfer.

Commits compete at Elite 11
Hurts and Tagovailoa weren’t the only Crimson Tide quarterbacks to compete at the Elite 11 camp. Tagovailoa’s brother, Taulia, and quarterback recruit Paul Tyson participated. Both players are committed to Alabama. The two players took part in the 7-on-7 competition.
Josh Jobe enrolls
Alabama cornerback commit Josh Jobe faced a dilemma before arriving in Tuscaloosa. Reports surfaced that he may not be academically eligible. But Jobe got good news over the weekend, as he qualified academically and will enroll. Jobe is a 4-star recruit who was an Army All-American.
