TUSCALOOSA, Ala. — By now, you’ve probably seen the video of Nick Saban’s awkward postgame dance moves, which has taken the Internet by storm in the days following Alabama’s 38-0 Cotton Bowl dominance of Michigan State. His players have, too.
And elite athletes though they may be, not even those battle-hardened boys could keep totally straight faces when discussing the Crimson Tide coach’s social media stardom with reporters.
Receiver Richard Mullaney, offensive tackle Cam Robinson and linebacker Dillon Lee all gave their thoughts on Saban’s dancing Monday afternoon — without giving their demanding coach too much grief. Here’s what they had to say:
- Mullaney: “Ahhh. I don’t know. I don’t know what he was doing. I think he was just kind of looking at us (the players) and going from there. It was fun to see.”
- Lee: “I thought the T-Rex (videos) were really funny.”
- Robinson: “Hahaha. Oh man. I don’t know. I don’t have (an opinion).”
Members of the ‘Bama marching also band paid it homage in their own special way.
Go ahead and form your own opinion if you haven’t seen it already by watching below:
