Nick Saban explains boat situation
Alabama coach Nick Saban took his players out on his boat over the weekend. While they were out, his boat supposedly ran out of gas, leaving the group stranded. Saban said his boat was brand new, but it didn’t run out of gas. Saban said his new boat had a fuel pump problem, and that is why his boat stalled.

Most people who root against Alabama would argue the refs help out the Crimson Tide. Those who root for Alabama would argue the refs help out the other team. In 2017, Alabama’s penalties returned to normal. Alabama ranked 124th out of 130 teams in opponent penalty yards last year.
