Alabama coach Nick Saban briefed the media on three key players Tuesday. He had good news on two of them, and an iffy outlook for the third.
Here’s the summary:
- Safety Eddie Jackson (knee): “Eddie practiced a little bit today. We think he’ll get better every day and probably be back in a day or two.”
- Safety Ronnie Harrison (ankle): “(He) is gonna be in a boot for a couple days. We think by the end of the week, he’ll be okay.”
- Right tackle Dominick Jackson (ankle): “Same injury that Cam (Robinson) had last year against Tennessee. Had the same procedure done on it. … I don’t know if Dominick will be able to play (against LSU) or not.”
Tight end Brandon Green is the backup at tackle, with guard Ross Pierschbacher also available to slide over.
The Crimson Tide have this weekend off before hosting LSU in a top-10 showdown on Nov. 7.
