Alabama is on the rise in The Official SEC Country Power Poll.
The Crimson Tide came in as the No. 3 team in the SEC following its 38-10 win over UGA on Saturday. Alabama moved up one spot from last week’s rankings, while receiving 186 points, one first-place vote and a low-vote of No. 5. LSU claimed the top spot while the Tide trail second-place Texas A&M by just five points.
Alabama looked dominant in all areas of Saturday’s game, but the team’s single loss compared to the Aggies’ undefeated record likely played a factor in the No. 3 ranking. The Crimson Tide will look to improve upon its ranking this week when hosting Arkansas. The Razorbacks came in at No. 10 in this week’s SEC Country Power Poll after a win over Tennessee on Saturday.
Alabama also moved up to No. 8 in this week’s Associated Press Poll and No. 10 in the Amway Coaches Poll.
