Alabama was back at it on Wednesday evening. The Crimson Tide landed their 17th commitment after 4-star RB Keilan Robinson announced his decision via Twitter:

The Washington native was being heavily pursued by some of the top programs in the country. Included on his offer sheet were Georgia, Michigan, Florida State and several others.
According to the 247Sports composite rankings, Robinson is rated as the No. 346 overall prospect and No. 18 running back.
At only 5-foot-9, 184-pounds, he doesn’t bring the same size to the table that fans have grown accustomed to seeing in Alabama’s backfield. Still, he plays a lot bigger than his size would indicate and he certainly has a future on the Capstone.
After failing to add a top prospect at the running back position in their previous class, the Tide will welcome Robinson with open arms. The stable in 2019 should still include several quality rushers — including Najee Harris, Brian Robinson and Josh Jacobs — but the Alabama staff has proven that it doesn’t mind spreading around the carries.
