Jeremy Pruitt has reported for duty at Tennessee, and Alabama linebacker Mack Wilson is supporting his former defensive coordinator from afar.
On Tuesday, the Vols’ Twitter account released a cool clip of the program’s new leader “clocking in” for his job in Knoxville after Pruitt helped Alabama beat Georgia in the National Championship Game on Monday at Mercedes-Benz Stadium. At Tennessee, the coach got to work right away during a week that included meeting with reporters to address a number of topics.
Shortly after viewing the clip, Wilson offered a cool message of support for Pruitt.

So well done.
It’s obvious that Pruitt made an impact on Wilson and others within Alabama’s program during his time as the Crimson Tide’s defensive coordinator. Those memories should last a lifetime for the coach and his former players.
As for Pruitt’s future, Kirby Smart has enjoyed success as Georgia’s coach after leaving Tuscaloosa following a stint as Alabama’s defensive coordinator. You can be sure Vols fans would love to see similar results in Knoxville soon.
