Alabama linebacker Terrell Hall has changed his last name to Lewis for the 2017 season.
The change is reflected on Lewis’ Twitter account. The new name was first reported by The Tuscaloosa News.
As a true freshman, Lewis racked up 11 tackles and one sack for the Crimson Tide. He could play a bigger role for Alabama this fall.
Lewis is a former top-100 player and was the No. 1 player in the District of Columbia for the class of 2016.
Alabama’s season kicks off against Florida State on Sept. 2.
