Alabama fans wanting to catch the Crimson Tide’s College Football Playoff matchup with Michigan State will have to wait until the sun sets.
The Cotton Bowl kicks off at 8 p.m. ET on New Year’s Eve, according to the bowl’s official Twitter account, and ESPN will televise it. Vegas has listed Alabama as a sizable early favorite, and many would not be surprised to see the No. 2 Crimson Tide roll to an 11th straight win under the bright lights of AT&T Stadium in Arlington, Texas.
Should coach Nick Saban and his players come away victorious, they would then face the winner of Clemson-Oklahoma. Those two schools are squaring off in the Orange Bowl, which is set for a 4 p.m. kickoff on New Year’s Eve.
