Emory Jones has been committed to Ohio State since July and hasn’t visited any other program since his decision, but Alabama is hoping to change that.
Jones, a 5-star quarterback from Heard County High School (Franklin, Ga.), has been offered by the Crimson Tide. Alabama is still looking for a quarterback in its Class of 2018, but nine of the 10 top players at the position are already committed.
The Tide flipped Mac Jones in the 2017 cycle, who was committed to Kentucky, and may have to do it again with another prospect this year.
Dorian Thompson-Robinson, who is the lone uncommitted quarterback prospect, has Alabama as one of his top schools, but Michigan and UCLA are the favorites to land him.
We may not know which direction Alabama will head with its search for a quarterback until June, which is when the team will have its quarterback camp.
