There may was an uneasy feeling surrounding Alabama fans when Ole Miss went up 24-3 in the second quarter against the Crimson Tide last week.
So much so that it literally sent one Alabama fan to the emergency room.
Buster, a Crimson Tide fan from Nashville, shared his story with Paul Finebaum on Thursday.
“I’m 62 years old and I am a dedicated Crimson Tide fan. Saturday, I thought Alabama was going to get beat and they had to rush me to the emergency room. When it started to be 24-3 that’s when it start hurting in my chest because I couldn’t see my beloved Tide losing.”
Unfortunately for Buster, he missed a heck of comeback. The Crimson Tide made it a 24-17 game before the half, and outscored the Rebels, 31-19, in the second half for the 48-43 victory.
“All I was asking everyone there was, ‘Is it over? Who won?’ I was so afraid that we lost. I thought ‘Oh my God. The time has come where we got beat. I just couldn’t deal with it. I just can’t deal with another game like that again.”
