After a senior year in which he developed into one of college football’s premier cornerbacks and punt returners, Alabama’s Cyrus Jones is receiving plenty of NFL attention as the draft nears.
According to the Houston Chronicle’s Aaron Wilson, Jones will visit with the Baltimore Ravens, Philadelphia Eagles, Buffalo Bills and New Orleans Saints. Additionally, he’s scheduled to perform private workouts for the Carolina Panthers and Tampa Bay Buccaneers.
The 5-foot-10, 196-pounder finished 2015 with two interceptions and 42 punt returns for 530 yards and four touchdowns. CBS Sports projects he’ll be drafted in the third or fourth round next month.
