Alabama quarterback commit Tua Tagovailoa of Hawaii is making a name for himself during the early summer camp circuit.
Tagovailoa was invited to the Nike Elite 11 finals in early June after a strong showing at Nike’s The Opening regional camp in Oakland. Certainly Tagovailoa is a stellar recruit and someone Nick Saban and his staff mined from an untraditional source in Hawaii. He showed his skills well during this national quarterback competition to get the invite to the Nike Elite 11 finals.
And he will be one of many Alabama prospects looking to earn more national recognition on the summer recruiting camp circuit.
Running back commit Najee Harris, the top overall recruit in the country according to 247Sports, earned his ticket Sunday to The Opening finals
Five-star offensive tackle Alex Leatherwood, four-star safety Xavier McKinney and four-star linebacker VanDarius Cowan are all Alabama commits and have also earned Opening invites.
