Jalen Hurts wasn’t afraid to critique his pitching ability.
The Alabama quarterback had the honor of throwing out the first pitch at the Crimson Tide’s game against Texas A&M on Thursday in Tuscaloosa, Ala. Afterward, he tweeted an awesome response to the experience. Check it out below.

If you watch the clip from The Decatur Daily’s Alex Byington included in Hurts’ tweet, you can see the quarterback put a little too much strength on the throw before it tailed low and outside. The pitch was a ball, but the speed of the throw was impressive.
Given that Hurts has so much experience throwing a football, this shouldn’t come as much surprise, right?
Still, it seems unlikely that Hurts will pull a Bo Jackson and play baseball in addition to his football responsibilities anytime soon. You have to give Hurts credit for being a good sport about this experience, though. Hat tip to him.
