TUSCALOOSA, Ala. — Alabama running back Damien Harris left the Kent State game in the first quarter on Saturday with an injury.
Harris took a helmet to his right knee on Alabama’s opening possession of the game.
Harris was briefly taken inside Alabama’s sideline medical tent where the training staff wrapped his right leg.
Harris had to be carted to the locker room. He wasn’t able to put any pressure on his right leg.
Harris carried the ball 4 times for 18 yards before exiting the contest.
Coming into Saturday, Harris had rushed for 327 yards and 1 touchdown. He was replaced by freshman Joshua Jacobs.
