Alabama has offered a scholarship to a fourth quarterback in the 2018 class.
Phil Jurkovec, the nation’s No. 1 dual-threat quarterback in the Class of 2018 from Pine-Richland High School (Gibsonia, Penn.) picked up an offer from the Crimson Tide Tuesday, as confirmed by SEC Country. Jurkovec joins Jack West, Trevor Lawrence and Allan Walters as 2018 quarterbacks with offers.
As a sophomore, Jurkovec threw for 2,560 yards and 20 touchdowns. He also rushed for 1,250 yards and 11 touchdowns.
Alabama is in need of quarterbacks in both the 2017 and 2018 classes. Currently, the Crimson Tide are without commits in both classes, but that will surely change over the coming months.
