Alabama shoots up to No. 2 in SEC Country Power Rankings
Alabama still isn’t getting much love from the AP Top 25, but the Crimson Tide are closing in on the No. 1 spot in the SEC Country Power Poll.
Nick Saban’s team jumped from No. 4 to No. 2 in this week’s rankings, and snagged two of 17 first-place votes.
Rival LSU earned the other 15, and is the clear-cut SEC favorite at this juncture of the season. Alabama will host the Tigers on Nov. 7.
This week’s opponent is Tennessee, which rose from No. 9 to No. 8 while on bye.
