Alabama running back Derrick Henry has picked up almost every trophy there is in college football this year. Now he’s picking up the check.
Wednesday, Alabama’s offensive line was awarded the inaugural Joe Moore award — and with it, the largest trophy you’ve ever seen. It was a figuratively and literally huge reminder of how important the unit was during Henry’s record-breaking, award-hoarding season.
And now, the linemen are receiving another prize — recognition from the man whose stellar season they enabled. And a free meal.
