The Baltimore Ravens pride themselves on being one of the best defenses in the NFL each season. Now, former Alabama linebacker Tim Williams hopes to add his name to the list of dominant defenders for the AFC North squad.
Williams, a third-round pick by the Ravens in the 2017 NFL Draft, posted a photo of him signing his first professional contract on Wednesday.
As part of the No. 1 scoring defense during the 2016 college football season, Williams was a dominant force that lived in opponents’ backfields, recording 16 tackles for a loss and nine sacks as the Crimson Tide regularly stuffed opponents.
A product of Baton Rouge, La., Williams caused 12 quarterback hurries while also forcing two fumbles.
