Texas leapfrogged Alabama for Dylan Moses’ favorite school two months ago, but he did have some good news for Crimson Tide fans Monday night.
Moses, the nation’s No. 2 overall player, took to his Twitter account to announce that he will take an official visit to Alabama Oct. 1 for the team’s game against Kentucky. The 5-star prospect has taken multiple visits to Alabama over the past several months, and hosting him once more in an official capacity only increases the team’s chances of landing him.
Despite him naming the Longhorns his No. 1 school, the majority of people in the recruiting industry believe he will end up at the school he was originally committed to, LSU. If Les Miles remains at LSU past this season, it’s hard to see Moses go anywhere other than LSU because of how close he is to the coach. When Miles was close to getting fired this past season, Moses sent SEC Country an impassioned message to voice his displeasure with how Miles was getting treated by LSU.
Moses is Alabama’s No. 1 target at outside linebacker. He will announce his commitment in December.
