Lauren Stephenson takes top honors
Alabama golfer Lauren Stephenson helped anchor her team to a national championship appearance. Now she’s taking home some individual accolades. Stephenson was named the 2017-18 Golfweek Player of the Year for women’s collegiate golf.
Stephenson is the first Alabama player to receive this award. This is the second national accolade for Stephenson. She also took home the Golfstat Cup, given annually to the women’s collegiate golfer with the best scoring average.
