Oxford, Miss. — Alabama wide receiver ArDarius Stewart left the Ole Miss game with an apparent injury on Saturday.
Stewart was knocked out of the contest late in the first quarter. He entered Alabama’s sideline medical tent and was tended to by the training.
Stewart exited the tent and removed his shoulder pads. He was also not holding his helmet which indicates that he wouldn’t return. CBSSports sideline reporter Allie LaForce reported that Stewart could return, but that seems unlikely given the fact that Stewart was without pads and a helmet.
Heading into this matchup, Stewart led the SEC in receiving yards (203), receiving touchdowns (3) and yards per game (101.5). He’s one of the go-to targets for Alabama’s freshman quarterback Jalen Hurts.
