Last week, Alabama wide receiver ArDarius Stewart wielded an axe on the sidelines after he exited the game with a concussion.
Axe= assassins.. Had to lead my troops off the field and not let them see me down and out .. I just want the W !!!!! #3peat?????

Before this week’s game against Kent State, Stewart was seen in possession of a different type of weapon.
Looks like Alabama's assassins axe has been replaced with a sledgehammer. It's on the field with @neversleepon13. A smart and safe move.

After last week, Stewart received a lot of tweets questioning his decision, some not feeling that the axe was an appropriate weapon of choice for an “assassin.”
Sometimes people are so technical it gets on my nerves!!! Assassins are equip with multiple weapons ..! Do ur research

So instead, he opted for the sledgehammer. And it’s not the first time that a Crimson Tide player brought one into the locker room.
Everybody was talking about the Ax on the sidelines, last year I took a photo of a sledge hammer in the locker room pic.twitter.com/Y4G1zmu1m6
