TUSCALOOSA, Ala. — Alabama coach Nick Saban said Wednesday that the Crimson Tide may be without two wide receivers on Saturday.
Wide receiver ArDarius Stewart and Robert Foster are both questionable for Alabama’s home game vs. Kent State on Saturday.
“From an injury standpoint, you guys know ArDarius Stewart is questionable for the game,” Saban said. “He’s certainly questionable for the game. Robert Foster tweaked his knee yesterday in practice and he’s also questionable for the game. So those are the two guys that are questionable for the game.”
Stewart has been at practice this week. He has worked in a black, non-contact jersey. Stewart is wearing a brace on his left knee.
Through three games, Stewart has caught 13 passes for 205 yards and 3 touchdowns.
Foster missed practice on Wednesday. Foster has 3 receptions for 13 yards on the season. Foster was one of the players Saban mentioned as a possible replacement for Stewart. That duty now falls to Cam Sims and freshman Trevon Diggs.
