Alabama’s Eddie Jackson heads to locker room after injuring leg
UPDATE: Jackson returned in the third quarter.
Alabama safety Eddie Jackson tried and failed to re-enter the game against Tennessee after injuring his leg on a blitz in the first quarter.
“He was kicked,” CBS’s Allie LaForce reported on the broadcast. “He was in pain. They didn’t think there was any ligament damage.”
Jackson tried to jog it off on the sideline, but he eventually relented and headed to the locker room with trainers. He was a big part of the secondary’s record-setting day against Texas A&M last week.
