His former Crimson Tide teammate Dalvin Tomlinson was noted as the top defensive line performer.
Howard came to the Senior Bowl with plans of showing his one-on-one ability after playing for such a strong unit with the Crimson Tide.
The 6-foot-6, 251-pound Howard was third on Alabama this season with 45 catches for 595 yards (13.2 yards per catch) and three touchdowns. CBS Sports has Howard as a projected first-round pick.
Tomlinson, who is 6-foot-3 and 312 pounds, is projected as a second- or third-round pick by CBS Sports.
The awards were handed out on Thursday night in the lead up for Saturday’s 1:30 p.m. ET game at Mobile’s Ladd-Peebles Stadium. NFL Network will broadcast the game live.
