The future of Alabama special teams rests on sure feet.
Brandon Ruiz, a 3-star kicker committed to the Crimson Tide, was named the Placekicker of the Year by Chris Sailer Kicking, which specializes in camps for high school kickers. Ruiz was also named a first team high school All-American.

Ruiz ranks as the No. 2 kicker in the nation, trailing only Ohio State commit Blake Haubeil.
In 2016, Ruiz hit 17 of 20 field goal attempts including a season long of 58 yards.
