In a span of a couple of minutes, Alabama has added its second commitment on the day.
Hunter Brannon, a 3-star offensive tackle from Cullman (Ala.) High School, has committed to Alabama, he told SEC Country.
“I am so pumped,” Brannon said. “It’s a dream that has long been awaited. I couldn’t be any happier.”
The 6-foot-4, 270-pounder attended the Crimson Tide’s invite-only cookout Friday and the team’s camp earlier this week. He committed to Alabama on the spot after receiving an offer.
He becomes Alabama’s third offensive line commit in the Class of 2017 joining 5-star offensive tackle Alex Leatherwood and the nation’s No. 1 junior college tackle Elliot Baker. Alabama is also in the running to land 5-stars Isaiah Wilson and Trey Smith, along with 4-star prospects Kendall Randolph and Jedrick Wills.
