Alabama’s No. 1 class in the 2019 recruiting cycle got better on Monday afternoon.
Justin Eboigbe, a 4-star defensive end from Forest Park (Ga.) High School, committed to Alabama over Auburn, Clemson, Georgia and Tennessee. Eboigbe becomes the Crimson Tide’s 16th commitment in the 2019 class.
Eboigbe hasn’t been mentioned much with other defensive line targets in this cycle, but he has been on the radar for the Tide since March.
“A lot of my family members are Alabama fans,” Eboigbe told SEC Country shortly after his offer. “Since a lot of my family is from Alabama, they grew up Alabama fans.”
His grandmother, to whom he’s very close, lives in the Yellowhammer State.
“She’s really been there for me a lot in my life,” said Eboigbe, who plans to study sports management in college. “She’s been right there for me with my mother.”
Eboigbe is the fourth defensive line commitment for Alabama, joining 4-star prospects Antonio Alfano, Rashad Cheney and DJ Dale.
