It wouldn’t be an Alabama Junior Day without an elite recruit committing to the Crimson Tide.
Some of the nation’s top prospects showed up at Alabama this weekend, and the first to commit to the Crimson Tide was Malcolm Epps, a sophomore tight end from Houston. Epps didn’t need long to think about it.
Epps is a 6-foot-5, 230-pounder who earned an offer from Alabama earlier this week. He confirmed his decision by changing his Twitter bio to “#Alabama commit.” He also earned offers from LSU, Texas A&M and Florida State this week, per 247sports.
Epps is Alabama’s second commit for 2018, following Dare Rosenthal, a 6-foot-7 offensive lineman from Bradenton, Fla.
