C.J. Mosley is proud.
His brother, Jamey Mosley, earned a scholarship with the Crimson Tide on Monday and the former Alabama great posted a touching message on his Instagram account Tuesday.
From my senior day to the young bull @jameflame earning his scholarship last night to the University of Alabama! To all the young men, no matter what your last name is or what reputation you have coming out of high school. Nothing is given to you, you have to earn every stripe that goes to your last name! The @alabamafbl organization and Coach Saban gave my brother a chance to walk on and earn his way and not give it to him just because of what I did. Now it's time to show the world what they been missing! #FlameOn #proudbrother #yeaaaaaaa #mosleyfamily
After redshirting his first season, Jamey Mosley did not see any action with the Crimson Tide in 2015. The Theodore, Ala., native chose to walk on at Alabama over scholarship offers from Tulane, Old Dominion, UAB and Western Kentucky.
C.J. Mosley played for the Crimson Tide from 2010-13 where he accumulated 317 tackles, 6.5 sacks, seven interceptions and five touchdowns. The Baltimore Ravens drafted him with the No. 17 overall pick of the 2014 NFL Draft.
