With Lane Kiffin taking the head coaching job at Florida Atlantic, Alabama will be looking for a new offensive coordinator.
And per Fox Sports’ Bruce Feldman, Nick Saban will look to promote from within his program for the next offensive coordinator. The three candidates are Steve Sarkisian, Mike Locksley and Billy Napier.
Am told Nick Saban is expected to consider in-house candidates for #Alabama OC job: Sark, Mike Locksley & Billy Napier.

Sarkisian joined Alabama as an offensive analyst this season after being the head coach at Washington and USC. Sarkisian has been linked to the opening at LSU to be its offensive coordinator. It had previously been reported that former head coach would not be considered for the position, so that is something to monitor.
Locksley is also an offensive analyst with the school. Locksley joined the school as an offensive analyst this year after spending the last four seasons at Maryland. He was the offensive coordinator at the Maryland and the interim head coach after Randy Edsall had been fired.
Napier has been the Crimson Tide’s wide receivers coach since 2013. He’s also spent time as an offensive coordinator at Clemson in the 2000s.
Kiffin is expected to remain on staff through the College Football Playoff.
