Danny Kanell still has it wrong when it comes to Alabama.
The SiriusXM analyst released his latest top 8 on Sunday morning. Again, he placed Clemson ahead of the Crimson Tide in the top slot. That’s crazy after Alabama dominated Vanderbilt 59-0 on Saturday in Nashville.
Lots of movement in the #DKtop8

Yes, Clemson has been impressive during a 4-0 start. But you can’t ignore how Alabama flattened Vanderbilt in the most impressive way imaginable in what was supposed to be a intriguing test against a rising Commodores squad.
On Saturday, Alabama showed what it can do this season, and that includes a possible national title run. If the Crimson Tide play like they did Saturday time and time again, there will be no challengers to their SEC throne. And even top contenders from other power conferences, including Clemson, will struggle to keep up with the Alabama machine.
Kanell’s latest ranking makes us wonder what it will take for Alabama to jump into his top spot. Is he waiting for the Crimson Tide to hang 100 points on someone? Maybe 200?
He needs to fix this error fast.
