Harrison Bailey appears to be one of the hottest young quarterback prospects in the country having received offers from seven prominent programs to this point, including two in the past week from the SEC.
The thing is, Bailey hasn’t officially reached high school yet. He’s entering ninth grade this year and will be part of the Class of 2020. He’s a very talented prospect based on his recruiting videos and the attention he’s already garnering from prominent coaches such as Nick Saban and Hugh Freeze, whom Bailey claims have offered him scholarships in the past week when he visited their respective campuses.

Alabama and Ole Miss join Florida, Texas A&M, Miami, North Carolina and Syracuse as teams who have offered Bailey. Offers to prospects his age are verbal and non-binding, but they’re still offers. It will be interesting to see how Bailey responds to all the attention at such a young age. Will he continue to progress and improve, or will he be satisfied to make such a big splash at an early stage?
When it comes to Alabama, Bailey is the second middle school quarterback the Crimson Tide has offered this year. Alabama coaches previous offered Connecticut quarterback Drew Pyne as reported by Drew Champlin at al.com.
