FRANKLIN, Ga. – Four-star quarterback Emory Jones led the Heard County Braves to a blowout win over the South Atlanta Hornets, 42-3, this past Friday.
Jones, an Ohio State commitment, came more than prepared. The nation’s No. 3-ranked dual-threat quarterback, per the 247Sports composite rankings, played an efficient game, completing 14 passes with 2 total touchdowns and over 200 yards of offense in the victory.
Jones committed to Ohio State in July 2016 and is one of the Buckeyes’ top commits for the 2018 class, though Alabama is still heavily recruiting him. Jones and Heard County will continue their run in the playoffs on Friday when they face Pepperell.
Watch to see why Alabama is trying its best to pry him away from Urban Meyer’s program.
